I read your comment via email while it was pending moderation. While I understand the heart of what you're saying, I have to say that you really didn't take time to read what I said. First off, I referenced 3 John 1:2 (the highlighted "prosperity of the soul" line in my second paragraph). The key line is..."as your soul prospers". In other words the prosperity of the SOUL is the foundation. The health and other good things are side benefits. Important yes, but not the foundation for prosperity. Gaining the whole world (including health and things), but having an impoverished soul is not profitable (Mark 8:36). Finally, the lack of "prosperity" is not the problem with humanity. The "Health and Wealth" gospel perspective is skewed, and causes folks to seek things, rather than the God of all things. So, it is "junk", because the emphasis is wrong. A Nappy Girl @ Not So Happy

I think it's a shame that you could down something so vital to the body of Christ as "PROSPERITY" . That's what's wrong with us now in the body is that the enemy is eating our lunch "stealing, killing and destroying" . So many of us are being stolen from. It's time to take back what the devil has been stealing from us. I know what you mean... For a long time, i didn't put anything related to Jesus on my car. I mean, if you have road rage and you have a cross on the back, it kinda makes you look stupid... I finally put an ithicus on the back of my car. Let me tell you... a few weeks ago it saved me, because I was pulled over by a cop and he told me my registration was expired since April 05... because i never got my emissions tested. needless to say, he told me he liked the fish on my car and my cross hanging from my rearview mirror. He said that he wasn't going to give me a ticket and consider it the grace of God. It would have been a $250 fine. I told him thank you and that i was praying while he was checking out my info.
