What causes a “normal” man to bind the feet of five Amish girls, and then shoot em‘ all?
Lord, I just can NOT wrap my mind around this one. What did this guy “miss” growing up? What chipped away at his humanity to such a degree that he could commit such a heinous act? How was he able to fool a bunch of people into thinking that he was just a “normal” guy?
Didn’t somebody see that there was something that wasn’t quite right with this guy? I don’t know. I’m not blaming anybody. I just don’t know what to say. The world is a dangerous place for children.
I lift up the parents of those children in prayer. I pray for the supernatural comfort of The Holy Ghost. I don’t know a whole lot about the Amish people, but I do know they love God and they live simple lives. Wow.
A Nappy Girl
This one pierced me to the core. And you know, when I see the Lord face to face one of the questions (among many) I’ll ask is how did the unimagineable deaths of those poor children fulfill His will? But then, when I see Him maybe it will become crystal clear as I would have moved from one degree of glory into the next. I just don’t know. Hear me when I say this, ANY human life taken by another is wrong, painful and a sin. But when you factor children into the equation it does something to you…you REALLY question God and say WHY?
Once again, I must reiterate that we operate moreso in the spiritual realm than we realize or even care to…it’s powerful stuff. Proof of this was that news coverage indicated that this man had been fueling his anger, hurt, hate, fear, pain, (all the things that are not of Christ) for 20 YEARS! Demonic forces had complete dominion over his life for twenty years. Can you imagine? But in the midst of it all, the Amish forgave without a forethought, as a natural response. That is simply amazing and grace beyond belief.
