7 Things I’m Thankful For:
1) The Lord (not a “thing” but… )
If it were not for Jesus Christ, I don’t know where I’d be. That’s the truth. I owe Him my life. Praise to The Most High One!
2) My Friends
I don’t have a lot of ‘em (and neither does anyone else, quiet as it’s kept), but I’ve been blessed with a few good ones. Good friends make life…liveable.
3) My Job
My job is not the best, but it’s a job.
4) A Roof Over My Head
I could be homeless. But God, in His abundant mercy has so graciously provided me a place to lay my head, and shelter from the cold.
5) Food To Eat
I love to eat. Food is a necessity. Now, I get to eat a lot of stuff that’s not necessary, but good to eat, just the same.
6) My Mother (not a “thing”, but… )
My mother drives me crazy sometimes, but she’d die for me, if she had to. We don’t always agree and we’re like night and day. But, she’s my mom. I’m crazy about her.
7) A Sound Mind
There are so many folks “running on empty”. I’m glad that thru all the madness in my life, God has kept me and kept my mind.
