We had our work Christmas party today. The food was great (everybody brought something to pass), and everybody was in a cheery mood. I decided that I would have a good attitude, despite the recent work-related problems I’ve been experiencing. God blessed my decision to not let my negative feelings overtake His will for me to be grateful that I have a job to go to.

Sometimes you gotta think about the goodness of God, and not your situation — if you don’t wanna plummet down the abyss of despair. There are folks worse off than I, and they have no hope. As long as Jesus lives, I have hope and faith that things will get better — but my attitude has to get better, right now, even before I see any evidence that some doors are about to fly open for me to walk thru.
