My mom used to use Dixie Peach Hair Pomade on my hair, when I was a youngin’. I’m 44 (this March) years old, so suffice it to say that was long ago. However, I used to LOVE the smell of that stuff! I think they still make it, and I wonder if it smells the same.
Fast forward 2007: What if I could find a “hair grease” that was all-natural (no petroleum/mineral oil), nourishing and great smelling — something that would remind of my beloved Dixie Peach. Well, I found it. It’s cold in Detroit, and I’m a firm believer in grease in the winter time, applied sparingly. It’s soothing to the scalp and it keeps the napps pliable. This product contains Sunflower Butter, Raw Honey, Rosemary Oil, Olive Oil, Fruit Enzymes and Fresh Peach Oil. The smell is…intoxicating :love:
It melts right into the hair, and the softness it leaves behind, along with that wonderful scent of fresh peaches, is downright heavenly. This stuff would be GREAT for keeping your ends in good condition, as well as an all-purpose hairdressing. I’m adding this to my staple products.
