I just bought this camera, and I’m both relieved and…antsy. I really do need a digital camera, so I’m glad I did buy it. However, I’m not a “picture taker” and I wasn’t so happy about releasing approx. $325 (camera bundled with some cool accessories), just for a…camera. I didn’t even buy a super expensive one, but that’s a lot of money for a camera, for someone who only plans to use it to take occasional pics — of hair, at that.
I feel like I’ve moved into the 21st century, cuz I haven’t owned a camera in years. I was so willing to buy some disposable cameras, but folks laughed at me and told me I needed to “do better”. Okay. You win.

I want to get a digital camera, they’re so cool. Have fun with yours!!

@SolShine7
Aren’t they cool? My brides usually bring them, when they come to try on wedding dresses. So, I see them a lot. They broke me down (along with friends who teased me for being very behind the times).
@Rikki
MsRikki, I haven’t received it yet! The FEDEX man will be stoppin’ by today, Lord willing. Plus, I gotta have a few hours to learn how to use it! :wink:

sadly to say I am also a product of the disposable camera age – i still get frustrated :evil:with the new tech cameras – i like the easy flow of turning the crank on the disposables and turning them in to Walgreens when Im done – call me old school but its so much easier – I THINK!:wink:

Kudos on the digicam. Yeah, that’s a lot to pay for the occasional pic. After the investment, you may be inspired to take more pics. Welcome to the digital age! :mrgreen:
