Royal Rinse Shampoo — 8oz @ $10.95

Available @ Natural Vibes

I forgot exactly how I came across Herb n Life  products. But, I’m sure glad I did! As many of you know, I’m always on the lookout for good stuff, for nappy hair. I never want a sista to feel like she doesn’t have choices, when it comes to quality products. This is another great line.

I was first intrigued, by the colorful packaging and the ingredients. Head Sprung Leave-In contains: Aloe Vera Juice, Aloe Vera Gel, Castor Oil, Jojoba Oil, Olive Oil, Vitamin E, Rosemary, Neem, Flax Seeds, and Tea Tree Oil.

It smells…divine! However, if you’re scent-sensitive, it may be a bit much for ya’. In that case, dilute it and keep pressin’. What it does for nappy hair is….amazing. It’s non-greasy and makes my twists feel oh-so-soft, and velvety. I wish you could feel my hair! This is my FAVORITE in the Herb n Life line, so far.  Think…velvet, and you’ll have it!

The Royal Rinse shampoo contains some of the same napp-friendly, nourishing stuff, like: Neem, Flax Seeds, Black Soap and Aloe Vera. It produces a rich, creamy lather. It cleans gently, without stripping. Smells wonderful.

The Coconut Hemp Hair Care is a great butter, for the scalp and edges. I’ve been using it on the left temple — my hair recently thinned out a little in that spot, and it’s growing back in, nicely. It’s got loads of good stuff, including Neem, Shikakai, and Amla.

There’s a hair oil, and body moisturizers (which I plan to try). Natural Vibes (see link at the top) is the best (and least expensive) place to order. I’ve ordered from them twice, and I got what I ordered quickly, with no problems.

The Herb n Life website is still under construction, but the theme song is stuck in my head. Yep, I’ll be “…using herb n life always…”

You gotta try this stuff. Really :)

SO glad I stumbled upon your website! I am really looking to connect with other napptural women, as I’m a new napptural myself (perm-free for 12 years, but I stopped all heat just a month ago). Your site is just lovely and well-designed. Thanks also for the links to other napptural blogs. God bless you in your pursuit of Him and all things napptural!

    Peace,
    Michele
