I get a lot of emails, asking about eliminating frizz. Frizz can’t be eliminated — it’s what nappy hair does. It can, however, be controlled. Some swear by Aveda Anti-Humectant Pomade. But I don’t want to repel moisture, because nappy hair loves…moisture.
When it’s hot and humid (like it is right now), I try to wear styles that keep my hair “contained”, like two-strands twists or high puffs (held with a scarf headband). I don’t fight it.
