WOW! Who knew I’d be actually making my own soap? I made my first bar, on October 22nd of this year. I’ve made more, since then, and I’ll always make soap from now on. I had to take a pic of one of my soaps, drying on my wooden soap dish, right after a shower.
Lemon Eucalyptus Soap
Ingredients: Saponified Olive Pomace, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Mango Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Castor Oil and Coconut Milk Powder. Fragranced with Lemon Eucalyptus EO.
It has a rich, creamy, fluffy, buttery lather! It’s absolutely WONDERFUL, if I may say so myself. I went from buying everybody else’s soap (I will continue to buy my favs), to making my own. What a difference a few months make!
A Nappy Girl

By those ingredients, it looks like that soap is edible! I LOVE coconut!
Derrick,
It is FANTASTIC soap! Yes it is. HOWEVAH, it doesn’t smell like coconut. Tell you what: Next batch I make(which probably won’t be till January, when the holiday season is ovah) I’ll make some coconut scented bars, and something for Kathy. I’ll email you to find out what she likes (but not till after Diana is born).
I’ll send them to you — no charge!
Thanks for the props!
Wow, this looks great! The ingredients sound great too. In terms of soap, there’s nothing that makes me more comfortable that I’m using a natural soap. Congrats on making your own soap! :)
I knew you would do well. I got my bar yesterday! It is absolutely wonderful, as I knew it would be. Looking forward to the day your soap is for sale.
Thanx, but if you REFUSE to let me pay, I’ll send you a free copy of my record when it’s done, or of my book when I write it!
@Darlynn
Thanks, girl! I’m glad you like the soap!
@Derrick,
Yes, I REFUSE to let you pay. There’s no shame in my game — I will accept your record or your book, as a blessing from God.
