Some of the most simple statements, but with profound meanings. It makes sense though when you think about it. People who have experienced little or no forgiveness (or they don't understand what it feels like to lay down at night, with a clean conscience) have a hard time being loving, forgiving and even kind. It would have been wonderful to sit a Jesus' feet, back then, and listen to Him speak. Just listen and take it all in.
