She resigned, and I feel bad for her — she will experience the greatest “fallout” from all this. Kwame will distance himself from her, to try and fall back into grace with the people. She’s a law student, and this incident will be looked at closely, when the Bar comes around.
Forget, for a second, the morality of the whole thing — seems like folks don’t wanna talk about morals and what’s good and right. Seems like it’s all up to the individual. I can handle that mentality, while I totally disagree. But when women choose to enter into shady relationships, with married political figures, it NEVAH turns out right — not for them. They always go down with the ship. She’s without a job. He’s still the mayor. Do you see what I see?
Everybody’s got a “pastor” to run to, when the stuff hits the fan. But when we run to GOD, when we find ourselves in trouble — either because of the heat of temptation, or the reality of wrong actions, we can find forgiveness (when there’s genuine repentance) and hope.
I hope she learned the lesson.
