The Mind is A Terrible Thing To Waste
You know, it’s bad to be so profoundly ignorant. No cars in the garages.
Looks like they went on a search for the “dimmest bulbs”. Looks like they found them, in Ohio. It’s also bad to be so old, and still unrepentent of racist attitudes. Girlfriend is close to meetin’ her Maker, and she’s talkin’, “If Obama wins, the “black” will take over. What is our country gonna end up like???!!!”.![]()
I’d be afraid to shut my eyes at night, but she’s so proud of her declaration. Ignorance is truly bliss, I see. How can folks be so “Christian” and totally miss “The Christ”? Did you check the dude that said Sarah Palin was “filled with The Holy Spirit”? On what basis did he make that determination? This campaign is making me weary. I have to hold my head.
I usually vote Republican, and it’s usually the abortion issue that seals the deal. But I’m sorry folks, this evangelical and staunch pro-lifer can NOT vote for McCain. I can’t do it. He’s not the man to run this country. With the state of financial affairs in the United States, the Church has got to step up, and reach out to women, who find themselves in difficult situations, like unplanned pregnancies. Cuz it’s VERY hard to tell a woman to keep her unborn child, when she can’t keep a job and/or adequate healthcare.
I don’t put my whole trust in ANY politician, including Barack. Obama is not a saviour. But the thought of another 4 years of a Bush-like administration, with just a new body in the chair, makes me ill — and I can’t stand it.
A Nappy Girl

Wow! What needs to be said?
People would have you think that this sentiment is a bygone thing, but here it is… And NOT in the South either! And it is not as isolated as we would like to believe.

Great post! Sara is making me weary. Edwinna and I both believe that Obama is the right man for the job. I’ve never been excited for a presidential candidate like I am for Obama. Blessings!

Just found this blog and I’ve enjoyed the read. Thanks! However, I have a question… I keep seeing “Sister Toldjah” linked on many blogs, which seemed to be authored by Black bloggers. Sister Toldjah’s writings always come off with a high disdain for blacks. Veiled, but its there. JMO. My question is… “do you dileberately like what this woman (Toldjah) says or did you get her confused with the Black blogger “Sister Toldja?” I’m curious, ‘cos maybe I missed something. I clicked on her name when I saw it on your blog thinking just that, maybe it’s me. However, today’s Sister Toldjah blog pretty much says that if Obama wins Blacks are gonna have open season on White Republicans and harrass and beat’em up. Sister Toldjah is a white conservative female with the whole anti-Obama campaign in full swing and Sister Toldja is black and blogs about rappers (maybe some hateration there, LOL) and life in Washington, DC, etc. Of course everyone has right to read and link to anyone they wish, I certainly don’t read blogs based on a perception of what color the Blogger’s skin is, but that Toldjah got a big “ewwww” mark from me. I just don’t believe Blacks are waiting to run white Republicans off the road because they have McCain/Palin stickers or beat them up. I don’t think Obama is a Savior, but a man and a politician. He’s just has noticably african features…which seems to be making people craaaaazy!

Thanks for stopping by!
My link is correct — I didn’t get her confused with someone else. My links are under the heading, “Blogs I Read”, not “Views I Agree With”. I link to blogs I find interesting/thought provoking. Some of the bloggers and I share very similar views on life, God, etc. But not all. Sister Toldjah is a blog I read, to keep my finger on the pulse of what’s happenin’ in “White Conservative Land” — at least with one white, conservative female.
