Yes…I’ve been missing in action. I’m too busy. I’ve got so many things pulling at me, and I’m trying to keep it all together. I haven’t had time to answer my visitor mail, and I’m really sorry about that. However, I’m thankful to those who don’t hesitate to share how they’ve been encouraged to fight the good fight, because of something they read here. I write for me, primarily, and I’m always amazed that somebody gets something out of it.

What’s happening? Hmmmm…well I’m not sure what’s going to happen to my company. The bridal business is “recession resistant”, but not “recession proof”.  I’m overworked and underpaid, and that probably won’t change. However, I’m always thankful to have a job to go to. God’s grace is indeed…amazing. I need to start looking for another job, or perhaps a career change.

I met up with a “friend from the past”. We’d lost touch (over 10 years), after a mass job elimination, and I didn’t expect to see, nor hear from her again. God said, “Not so”.   She’s a deep, soulful, spiritual, incredibly funny and real sista.  She has a deep, rich singing voice, like Kelly Price, and a deep, rich love for the Lord to match. What a woman! What a blessing!

I’m cured…I’m no longer a hair product junkie!  My wallet thanks me, and I no longer have enough hair products to open my own beauty supply store. It’s pretty much Qhemet Biologics, with a few other brands hanging around for a bit of variety.

I’ve gotten a few emails, addressing some doctrinal issues and I do plan to discuss them…but in a bigger “arena”. I’m opening up the forum again, and I’m asking a few of my blog buddies to come over and break bread and share insight.  There’s also going to be a “Blog Radio’ show. Stay tuned.

I’m ready to make soap again…I’ve been on hold with that, because of time and I was actually starting to feel a little burned out. I’m changing my company name, and hopefully I’ll be ready to roll, by the fall.  Not sure if I’m keeping the soap blog or/and the soap community.  It’s too much to try to keep everything up and running. We’ll see.
