I’ve gotten emails from impatient nappturals (like me), who want to try some of the most popular all-natural/nearly all-natural lines. Everybody is concerned about the wait time.

Well…I wish I could tell you that when you order products from indie beauty companies you get your products lightening fast.  You don’t…especially if you order direct. Now, if the company happens to distribute their products, you’ll probably do better ordering from a distributor…if you’re very low on patience. The disadvantage is your products aren’t usually as fresh.

I almost always order direct, but occasionally I’ll order from a CurlMart. With my recent PJ relapse, I ordered Oyin thru CurlMart because I follow them on Twitter and read a tweet that they’d received a supply of  Oyin a few days ago. I needed some “juice” for my twists and didn’t want to wait 2 weeks.

Currently, I have 5 packages coming. When I place an order, I try to forget about it. It’s a nice “surprise” to get a box from UPS or USPS, when you’re not expecting it. That’s how I deal with the wait.  Rarely has the wait not been worth it.

BTW, I got my order from Darcy’s Botanicals (purchased on the 20th of this month) yesterday…
