NuNAAT Combing Cream
This is my latest find, from the neighborhood beauty supply store. NuNAAT is a Brazilian line of hair products, and they’re not easy to find. I’m going to try it, for my detangling, pre-wash sessions (on wet hair). It’s not “natural”, so if that’s an issue, pass by this one. You may have seen the products in some of the Dominican salons.
I’ve tried Qhemet Biologic’s Cocoa Tree Detangling Ghee, but it’s too expensive for a detangler. I’m not using it as a leave- in. This combing cream is around $6 for 10.3 ounces. I can do that.
I haven’t tried it yet, so I can’t say what it does. It feels and smells good, and the Karite Special line is supposed to be good for nappy, coily hair. You can purchase online, if it’s not available where you live.

I’ve never heard of them, but I did click on the link and saw that their relaxer boxes have latina women on them. My mother-who is from New Mexico, and she is black-once told me that when she always had a difficult time buying relaxers because the Mexican women would take them before she had a chance. It’s funny how much people (my former self included) think that black women are the only one using those types of products.

I’m anxious to try this out. I have to shampoo on my off days, because my hair is an all-day project, if I do two-strand twists. That’s the ONLY thing I dislike about being natural.

That is definitely a great find, several months ago I bought the nuNAATT Intensive Mask treatment and loved it. I also tried it in both of my daughters hair and it left our hair feeling so soft and didn’t dry it out. I actually just used it a few weeks ago and am in need of more. Hopefully you get the same results as we did. Good luck!

I just got finished detangling my hair, for my shampoo tomorrow…this is good stuff! I didn’t have any severe tangling, but it loosened up the tangles, and made my hair easy to comb thru.
