About Me

I’m a native Detroiter. I’m 40-something. I’ve been a Christian (disciple of  Jesus, The Christ™), since the age of 12. I’m single, and I enjoy it — most of the time. My interests include: soapmaking, cooking and good books! I’m an animal lover — dogs and cats, especially.

I decided to go nappy, because I started to consider what years of relaxer applications might be doing to my body. Plus, I got sick of sitting in beauty salons all day long (for touch-ups). I love napps, and if I had it to do it all over again, a relaxer would have never, ever touched my hair and scalp. I transitioned for a little over a year.

If you have questions, feel free to use the contact form. I do make every attempt to respond to all emails (that aren’t spam), within 48 hours. If I don’t get back with you, within that time period, know that I will respond at my earliest convenience. Be sure to check out my other blogs: NEA East Coast and NEA SoapWorks.

If you submit a link to my links page, it’s subject to my approval and the category/description may be edited. I may also choose not to allow your link, if your site is not family-friendly.

If you send me email, that email is mine, to do with as I wish — which means I may publish excerpts or the entire message (without revealing your identity/email address) on this site, at any time, for any reason.

Requests for my gallery password must include a brief intro: Who you are, how you found my site, if I know you from an online community, etc.
