Banana Creme Conditioner

Get it @ My Honey Child. When I first purchased this, I had it in mind for a rinse-out conditioner. However, I like it better as a leave-in. I mist my hair with water and squeeze a dollop in my hands, and work it thru box braids or a “slightly crispy” puff. Non-greasy and no sweet, candy-like fragrance.

Ingredients: Purified water, Soy Protein, Oat Protein, Organic Sunflower Oil, Vitamin A, Panthenol, Biotin, Glycerin, Organic Extracts of: Corn Silk, Comfrey, Marshmallow, Meadowsweet with Banana Fragrance, Vanilla Extract, Grapefruit Seed Extract and Vanilla Bean.

Ingredients: Watermelon seed oil (high in fatty acids), Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Palm Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Chlorella Powder, Rose Clay. EO’s of: Amyris, Clove, Frankincense, Juniperberry, Lemon and Sweet Orange.

A sista out of Columbus, OH runs manages this operation. She’s got a full line of beauty products (I bet her butters can be used on the hair) ranging from natural, handmade soap, to fragrance.

I haven’t had the pleasure of trying any of her products, but y’all know that my inner product junkie won’t rest too long. Her Zen Tea Body Butter is speaking to me.

QB Spritzes

The nappturals are buzzin’ around Qhem’s site, patiently awaiting the unveiling of her new line of spritzes (spray leave-ins) for the kinks. The anticipation is mounting. The natives are more than a little restless.

See, I’ve been waiting for this for a long time. The only things missing from the Qhemet Biologics line are a spray moisturizer and a deep (rinse out) conditioner. Once the missing pieces are in place, Qhemet Biologics will be THEE complete line for nappy, kinky, coily and (some) wavy hair.

What’s the name of the new napp delicacy? It’s called Karkady Tea Replenishing Mist (yep, Karkady is the tea of Egypt), so we know it’s gonna be good, right?
