She resigned, and I feel bad for her — she will experience the greatest “fallout” from all this. Kwame will distance himself from her, to try and fall back into grace with the people. She’s a law student, and this incident will be looked at closely, when the Bar comes around.

Forget, for a second, the morality of the whole thing — seems like folks don’t wanna talk about morals and what’s good and right. Seems like it’s all up to the individual. I can handle that mentality, while I totally disagree. But when women choose to enter into shady relationships, with married political figures, it NEVAH turns out right — not for them. They always go down with the ship. She’s without a job. He’s still the mayor. Do you see what I see?

Everybody’s got a “pastor” to run to, when the stuff hits the fan. But when we run to GOD, when we find ourselves in trouble — either because of the heat of temptation, or the reality of wrong actions, we can find forgiveness (when there’s genuine repentance) and hope.

 I hope she learned the lesson.

I knew he was messin’ up, and I was wondering how it was all gonna come out. Well, we can thank the “text messaging” craze, for that bit of revelation. Who knew? The Blackberry told it all.

No, Kwame — You are not “regular people”. When you carry on an adulterous relationship with your chief of staff, and make the taxpayers pay nine million out of our already empty pockets to cover it up, you don’t have the “right” to privacy.

Nine million dollars. Michigan is in dire straits, financially. Folks are losing jobs, homes and hope. If you have a piece of a job, you better try to hang on to it, cuz you may not get another one. Everybody in Michigan should get a rebate check. I think so.

Yet our mayor and his chief of staff decided that covering their raggedy behinds was much more important than the financial health of Detroit households. WOW! To be that arrogant, and think that your stuff is going to remain hidden indefinately is just…stunning.

Your sin will find you out! Grandma used to say that. Grandma, as usual, was right.
